In the beginning
Pitts Brothers & Associates was formed in 1978 with the partnership of Tom and Mike Pitts, along with their cousin Marty Hogan. Over the past 4 decades, Mike and Marty’s appraisal practice has specialized in the appraisal of all types of real estate. Tom was with the firm for 16 years and concentrated on the sale and development of real estate. For over twenty-nine years Pitts Brothers operated at 1000 60th Street in Kenosha.
Rob
Mike’s son Rob joined Pitts Brothers in 2003 after graduation from the real estate program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Rob has developed a specialized real estate brokerage concentrating on the sale of vacant land, industrial and commercial properties.
Andy
After his graduation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2004, Mike’s son Andy joined Pitts Brothers as an appraisal trainee. Andy became a Certified General Appraiser in 2006 and specializes in the appraisal of all types of real estate excluding residential housing.
Mike Jr.
In 2005 Mike’s oldest son Mike decided to join the family business and work with his brother Rob in the sale of real estate specializing in the sale of vacant land, industrial and commercial properties. Mike Jr. also graduated from the real estate program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
The Crew
Mary Perrine began working at Pitts Brothers in the summer of 1993 and provides administrative support in addition to actively selling residential properties as a licensed real estate salesperson. Mary has 32 years of experience selling real estate in Kenosha.
In the fall of 2009, Frank Olson, Mike, Rob and Andy’s cousin (Mike Sr.’s nephew) was hired as an appraisal trainee. Frank is working toward his final certification as a Certified General Appraiser. Frank works with Mike Sr., Andy, and Marty in the appraisal division of Pitts Brothers & Associates. Frank has been involved in the appraisal of a wide range of commercial, industrial and vacant land properties. Frank graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2007.
Vito Pitts was hired in 2006 to provide security at the former PBA location at 1000 60th Street. Vito was excited to move into the new office located at 6309 60th Street in the spring of 2008. Vito has since been promoted from security into his new position as consiglieri and is available for consultation by email only. Ted Pitts was hired to fill the vacant position in the security and has done an outstanding job to date, providing Pitts Brothers & Associates a safe and crime-free environment.
